Agnes Water / Town of 1770 - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Agnes Water is a very quiet little town. It is entirely focused on surfing this time of year. The beach was lovely and so was the path leading there from the hostel. The hostel in and of itself though was not the nicest place to be for various reasons. I'm not gonna go into them here, but leaving there was bittersweet for me.

Here are some impressions from the hostel and the surrounding area...

The pathway to the beach leads you through an enchanted forest...

The beach itself is quiet and cozy. I really enjoyed going for walks there...

There is a little museum about Cook's expeditions along the coast of Queensland. But the best thing about that is the path leading to a lookout over the beach...

Here's some food, but as I wasn't feeling well while I was there I didn't cook much. We did have a BBQ one evening, though...
