Noosa - A great place for a beach holiday

I spent two full weeks in Noosa, there was lots to do and I met a lot of wonderful people. The hostel was a bit crowded, but the surrounding area offered lots of space for alone time.

So, here are some impressions from the hostel and the town...

The beach was a 5 minute walk from the hostel and I spent a lot of time there reading and walking. As there were school holidays going on, a lot of families were at the beach, too...

One day my room mates and I went on a coastal walk of about 5km to the next main beach (Sunshine Beach). On the way back we walked through the national park. It was absolutely beautiful!

On another day we explored a lookout over the laguna. It was a very beautiful little hike...

What we did as a group quite regularly was watching the sunset on the beach. Here are some impressions from one of those evenings...

And then there was the big trip to Australia Zoo. Yes, that's Steve Irwin's place, now lovingly run by his wife, daughter and son. It was so worth the money! Be prepared for a lot of cute animal pictures...

Last but not least - the food! Since I was actually staying in one place for a longer period of time, I cooked my own meals mostly...
